Learning to play an instrument should be both enjoyable and practical. In my studio, students learn through a balanced approach that blends structure, traditional pedagogy, and creativity.

Traditional piano training plays an important role in my teaching, as it builds strong technique, healthy playing habits, and develops an understanding of music theory. At the same time, I don’t believe in a rigid, one-size-fits-all method.

Every student learns differently, so lessons are shaped around individual goals, experience, and interests rather than a copy-and-paste method designed to get every musician to sound the same.

My students learn through a creative and holistic approach. I combine elements from a variety of respected piano methods — including Suzuki, Faber, and Alfred — along with ear training, sight reading, and jazz improvisation, helping students become confident, versatile, and expressive musicians.

My goal is for each student to enjoy and understand music and harmony at a deeper level, and to bring that joy and practical skills into the rest of their lives.
